No good title for this

Well, we held on to the crib for as long as we could. When James started getting his knee stuck inbetween the rungs we knew it was time to move on to the toddler bed. OH, how I miss those days. Now James' daily "nap" is destruction time. Any good ideas for getting the boy to actually take a nap? He IS tired and falls asleep around 6:30 only to wake up at 9. Yuck. Any good advice will be greatly appreciated. Heck, we'll even take bad advice. ;) Tylenol anyone?

Yeah, we are still folding landon into his crib. It will be awhile before we take the next step! Look at his face though! So innocent!

No good advice from us. It's readily apparent that with Luke's sleeping issues we can offer nothing but sympathy!

Oh, I did have one other little comment, thought, suggestion, whatever when I was reading the Labor Day post and saw that you were turning into a vampire. I just finished reading "The Book Thief" and it is a great read/book.

Its so good to finally catch up on everything that has been happening with you. I can't believe how big James is and he looks even more like Justin to me...if that is possible. The girls are to die for and it sounds like you are really busy but having a lot of fun too!

I love, love, love, this picture. It just makes me laugh. So many memories of Max at that age. I don't have any advice either, only that it is normal, I guess. I finally gave up on the nap thing after a few weeks of this destructive phase. Good luck!

Here's what 18 years of parenting would advise. Lots and lots of duct tape. :) Yes, I'm just kidding! I feel your pain. Mine never napped after 2 for this reason.

Only 2 options. 1) wake James 1 hour earlier than he would prefer to get up. 2) stop naps I always went with option 2 since I prefer to sleep in.

Try to win the psych wars? Give him a stuffed animal and tell him the animal is sad and would like him to lie down and hug it. It's not a lie...it's a happy story.

Actually, I kept Nina napping while I was pregnant with Sean by giving up and telling her she didn't have to sleep, but she did have to lie down and be quiet. She fell asleep.
